Fourth graders are responsible for completing assigned homework, reading 5-6 days a week, and spending time on ALEKS.  Check out the tips in this video for beating the homework hassles.

Katie adds a completed book to her reading log, while Carter prepares to glue an outline in his Reading Journal.

Logan & Hailey cut an outline out about book genres. Students learned the specifics of Realistic Fiction, Fantasy Fiction, & Mystery Fiction.



Sandra wrote about two ways to compare numbers: using a number line and using place value.

We had an excellent first two days in Room 28, spending time getting to know one another and working with classmates.  This blog will be my main form of communication; I will send an email containing a link each weekend.  Please visit weekly to learn about upcoming events and classroom happenings.

  • Crestwood's Food & Snack Policy has changed: students are no longer able to bring treats for their birthdays (to the classroom or to lunch).  Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation with this new policy.
