May 23, 2018

Dear Parents of Miss Dausmann's 2017-18 Classroom,

We did it!  We completed another year of learning and laughter at Crestwood.  It's been an incredible year filled with progress and growth.  I am beyond grateful for each of my 22 students and the experiences we shared together this school year.  I know our 5th grade year is going to be even more special.

Here are a few great summer resources for continued learning.  Please take a peek and encourage your child to use these throughout the summer.

Sincerely,
Katie Dausmann

  • Share something you learned about Ulysses S. Grant while visiting his home and historic site.

Noah works to complete his Headlines project.
Students worked a project that combined Writing, Math, and Art skills.

Kids received an equation for each math operation (+, -, x, /) then wrote a news story that matched the equation.

Emma gets her headlines and news stories glued onto her newspaper.
