Empathy is a complex phenomenon that requires both self-awareness and a willingness to think about a situation from another's point of view. Watch this short video to learn a simple two word question to ask your child to help him/her build and grow that empathy muscle.

  • Your child is bringing home Weekly Reflection today. Please be sure to review & sign, so (s)h can return on Monday.
  • Students learned a simple and fun way to practice multiplication facts this week. 1. Grab a deck of playing cards. 2. Decide on a set of facts to practice (example: x3s). 3. Say "3 x " then flip a card over and multiply by that number. *A=1, J=11, Q=12, K=0

Brady & Griffin brainstorm ideas for ways to use the Hot Wheels cars and track for Science.

Mr. Stevens asked students to explore the different Maker Space stations.  Here, Ava & Logan share ideas for ways kids can use the Lego Story Starters.  

Cyrus & Claudia think about suggestions on how the stretch figures could be used to teach Math.
