December 8, 2017

We used our Class Meetings this week to check in with our emotions.  Students learned many new emotion words that are more specific than the usual responses of "good," "fine," "sad," or "mad." We passed the ball around, and kids shared the following adjectives:  fidgety, discouraged, pleasant, compliant, peaceful, frustrated, and many more.  Checking in with our emotions was a great way to start our day.  It gave us an idea of who do sit by that was ready to be a good influence, and it tipped us off on who we might privately check in with.
