Will F., our Star of the Week, shows off his kickball skills as his special talent.  

Students tried a new cooperative learning structure called Talking Cards.  Every student received 2 cards and had to use them to speak.  Kids could share a thought, respond to another, or question someone's statement.  

This structure requires all kids to share and doesn't let one or two do all of the talking.  

Will F. brought in some maps his dad created to share while we study geography.

These maps are water proof; you can hide underneath to stay dry if you get caught in a rainstorm!
