Writer's Workshop
Students are publishing their Realistic Fiction stories using Google Documents. Students spent time adding transition phrases and synonyms for "said" to their writing. They edited for 4th grade quality punctuation and capitalization. Look for a writing celebration invitation soon!
Math
In Math, we continued studying the relationship between multiplication and division. Students learned some rules and properties of both operations, and they practiced generating factors and multiples of different numbers.
Reader's Workshop
Students created their own Word Harvests in their Reading Journals. This is a place for them to record new, interesting words and use the book's context clues to infer the meaning.
