This week, we spent a good amount of time discussing ways to show kindness to others.  Kids shared that holding a door for someone, inviting a new friend to join in at recess, and sharing a simple smile are all great ways to spread kindness throughout their community.  In Flyer Families, we read the book Each Kindness, which reminded us that we don't always have the opportunity to replace a hurtful act with a kind one.  The time to be kind is now.
